  1. I don’t believe there has been any other options discussed about lowering the lake level. We should be given options to discuss and a plan voted on. My recommendation would be leave the lake level at pool level until a storm is in the Florida region. Lower it 1 foot. If there is a 50% chance it is going to the Galveston region within 200 miles either way the lower it another foot. That would allow lake Conroe to absorb 7 feet of water while it allows lake Houston to dump water days prior to land fall. When the storm has passed and lower areas from lake Conroe have had a chance to drain down stream. The authority then can lower Lake Conroe to pool level. Please consider other options before deciding on the status quo. That plan was Reactive, not proactive and doesn’t work
