TO MY MEDIA FRIENDS: Well, I see it is not only our homes in The Woodlands that are 10% more valuable, which will mean higher taxes for every homeowner. Now our infamous Montgomery County Judge and 4 Commissioners have decided that they are ALSO worth 10% more – by paying themselves $180,000 and $176,000 respectively. They rejected bringing better and needed road bonds to the November 2015 ballot this morning but intend to pass raises for every county executive. Why are they are giving themselves pay raises for not doing their job. PLUS, a cell phone allowance because who can afford a cell phone on only $180,000 a year? Look at that pork laden county payroll total. I’m not good at math and my calculator won’t handle such a big number. Amazing, sad, and scurrilous. Our County of 450,000 people will pay its public servants more than Harris County does with 4.5 million people. Good Grief!!!
