$250 Thousand Dollars for NOTHING!
Voters had wait hours after polls had closed for the result to the most momentous election in recent Montgomery County History. The delay of more than 4 hours was due to late arrival of mail in ballots at election central according to reports from Courier Staff.
Candidates running as Resident’s Advocates led by Township incumbent Gordy Bunch trounced developer backed candidates who received astounding financial backing exceeding $250 Thousand Dollars from the anonymous donors to Concerned Taxpayers of the Woodlands.
Along with Bunch, Bruce Rieser, John Brown and Brian Boniface brushed aside a crew assembled by former Township Director Bruce Tough. Apparently their deceptive campaign tactics regarding 70% tax increases were not well received by Woodlands Voters.
