NAPOLITANO LEADER OF THE PACK IN SHERIFF’S RACE;

GAINS ENDORSEMENTS FROM BOTH TEA PARTIES

For Immediate Release

jim napolitano portraitMontgomery County, TX, Jan. 6, 2016 – The Montgomery County race for Sheriff took a sharp right turn this week as both the Montgomery County Tea Party and the Texas Patriots PAC endorsed Jim Napolitano for Sheriff. Napolitano is a former Secret Service Special Agent and current Chief of Police in the City of Montgomery. He says his election will bring “A New Era in Law Enforcement” to Montgomery County. Current Sheriff, Tommy Gage, has opted not to run for re-election.

The Montgomery County Tea Party said its endorsement is based on Napolitano’s well-rounded national experience, insights on terrorism, his plans for changing and revitalizing the sheriff’s department, and they saw him as a “visionary.” The Texas Patriots PAC endorsed Napolitano in a public meeting last night. PAC President Julie Turner recognized Napolitano’s experience as being consistent with the law enforcement needs of our county at this time.

In his acceptance speech to a crowd of PAC supporters, candidates, and media Napolitano said, “I am not running against them (my opponents) or anyone else. I am running for a job as our master peace officer and law enforcement leader. I am offering my all-encompassing international experience at a time in our history that demands increased emphasis on prevention and protection, as opposed to reaction.” He said, Our women, children, and seniors are all frightened. We must restore the feeling of peace and public safety.”

He distributed campaign material that listed key issues he intends to address as Sheriff of Montgomery county including:

  • Terrorism Threats
  • Immigration and Border Issues
  • Child Predators
  • Gang Growth
  • Resist Federal Interference
  • Correct problems at the County jail
  • Fiscal responsibility with Zero-based budgeting

In closing, he pointed to his training and activities as a Secret Service Special Agent who protected four U.S. Presidents and worked cooperative efforts with the CIA, DEA, and military Special Forces.

Chief Jim Napolitano is an extraordinary peace officer who has been trusted to protect our nation, guard our presidents, and is now ready to be the next Sheriff of Montgomery County, Texas. His career has called upon him for protection and law enforcement duties in many of the major cities of the world as a United States Secret Service Special Agent. He has the specialized knowledge and experience to bring “A New Era in Law Enforcement” to one of Texas’ most dynamic and fast-growing counties, now with a population of more than 500,000.

Napolitano has evaluated the current operations of Montgomery County and its Sheriff’s Department. With 50% of the population female, 33.6% children under 18 years, and 12% seniors,* he feels public and personal safety for citizens through effective law enforcement is paramount. He plans to better prepare, protect, and enforce to avert looming Terrorism Threats, the scourge of Child Predators, complex Immigration and Border Issues, the dangers of Gang Growth, and implementing Texas’ new Open Carry law. He is also keenly aware of a dysfunctional Montgomery County Jail that continues to deteriorate in its operations. “I have a plan to fix it,” Napolitano says. Earlier in his career, he worked in the Sheriff’s Office as a former patrol deputy, detective, and jail guard. He left the department as a sergeant when he was commissioned as a Secret Service Special Agent. He now serves as Chief of Police of the City of Montgomery.

Jim’s security clearance has been Top Secret, which was necessary to provide personal protection to U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush. As a Treasury agent in the Houston Field Office, he handled the five billion dollars cash movement for the Federal Reserve Bank. His 100% arrest and conviction rate includes notorious criminals like the Arian Brotherhood and the “Sandman” criminal involved in drugs, child pornography, and snuff films. He was selected to work with the CIA and DEA when they busted the most prolific counterfeit note ever produced at its core in the Middle East.

James F. Napolitano was raised in New York City. His mother was a nurse and his father was a New York City Police Officer. Jim was born to serve. He moved to Texas in 1977 where he graduated from University of Houston. He is married to Angela Napolitano, who runs their private security service as CEO in Conroe and nurtures Angelina, their 18-month old daughter, at their Montgomery residence. The Napolitano’s own Universal Safety & Security Solutions, LLC, serves the Oil and Gas industry, Churches, Corporations, and private families. USSS was asked to provide incremental security for Pope Francis I, during his visit to the Mexico border adjoining El Paso, Texas.

Chief Jim Napolitano is a man who has clearly earned our trust and confidence. However, he believes that these excerpts from his commission as a Secret Service Special Agent are the ultimate endorsement:

“James F. Napolitano is commissioned by the United States Secret Service, to protect the President of the United States.”…”and in the performance of his duties, to arrest any person committing any offense against the United States.”…“He has top secret clearance and is commended to those with whom he may have official business as worthy of trust and confidence.”
