“A few citizens picketed Conroe’s new fence ordinance, which regulates the height, material, color and maintenance of residential front yard fences on properties less than one acre.
The picketers gathered Friday afternoon on both West Phillips and East Davis streets — the main road routing traffic in and out of downtown Conroe — carrying signs encouraging riders to carry to “walk tall” against the fence law, which restricts front yard fences to a height of four feet.”
