NOACK APPOINTS PERSONAL ATTORNEY TO HANDLE PUBLIC RECORDS REQUESTS

Possible Fallout From PATRIOTS PAC Email-Gate

County Citizen has received notification from Austin Lawfirm Gobers Hilgers  as follows “Our firm represents James Noack, Montgomery County Commission Precinct 3. We will be handling your request for information dated September 14, 2015”, that, after submitting a Texas Public information request to the commissioner himself.

Ordinarily the commissioners use County Attorney JD Lambright’s Public Information desk to process such claims. It is unknown what exactly has led to the appointment of Gobers Hilgers to process these request at added expense to either the public or the commissioner. We can only speculate that the Texas Ranger investigation in to the Patriots PAC email-gate has something to do with it.

The firm bills itself as a big lawfirm without the excessive price tag, a price tag we hope is not to be paid by taxpayers but so far commissioner Noack has refrained from responding to questions on that subject.
