TRIGGER THE VOTE ON TARGET WITH POSITIVE MESSAGE

HUNDREDS HAVE NEAR CHUCK EXPERIENCE

Chuck Norris accompanied by his wife Gena did not disappoint the gathering that numbered in the hundreds at  “TRIGGER THE VOTE” campaign in support of Sheriff candidate Jim Napolitano.

Ceremonies  led by radio personality Sam Malone kicked of in song with a vary respectable rendition of Amazing Grace and the The Star Spangled Banner. Opening comments were delivered by former Delta Force Col. Bernie McCabe.

Event Headliner Chuck Norris addressed the crowd with a message that encapsulated the event with a positive tone first relating how he had desired to enter law enforcement from an early age entering the military with a plan in mind to obtain training for a career in law enforcement.

After a tour in Korea with the United States Airforce where Norris first encountered the  martial arts he returned to the United States where he states he “fell in love” with teaching of martial arts.

Martial arts then became his new career path followed by  a 23 movie acting career.  Norris says he always sought to play positive roles in his movie parts and in many cases played military or police and Sheriff characters like Sheriff Dan Steven in Silent Rage (1982 ) and Walker Texas Ranger (1993-2001 ).

An outworking of Norris’s practical moral worldview is the founding of KICK START KIDS founded and directed by Norris and wife Gena with the mission of Character through Karate. In fact it was through such work that he first met Jim Napolitano.  Norris endorsement of Napolitano was firm and sincere and obviously founded on personal knowledge.

Napolitano closed the event with a comments about the importance and meaning of law enforcement in this community and his commitment to preparation and training for his profession. He touched on some elements that he hopes to change if elected including force morale and operational improvements.

In attendance were numerous elected officials and prominent persons including, Judge Claudia Laird, Judge Jennifer Robbin , County Attorney J D Lambright,  MCHD Director Georgette Whatley and Director Bob Bagley, Commissioner James Noack, Township Director John McMullan, Township Director Gordy Bunch who hosted the event, Also Patriots PAC Jon Bauman and Julie Turner along with MCTP John Wertz, Ginger Russell, Larry Rogers and many more.
