Isiah Carey lives on my street. He is reporting on Harris County where a man was arrested by seven U.S. Marshals dispatched to collect $1500.00 on a 30 year old student loan.
They have Congressman Green on the mat over it. But the real question ( a great question for Napolitano and Henderson ) is why the Sheriff did not intervene? If, as the law states and has been well established in Printz v. United States the Sheriff is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the County how can this type of action be allowed? The Sheriff is supposedly a check against tyranny. Or is this just another urban myth?
