St. Anthony, located at the corner of Kuykendahl Road and Bay Branch Drive, is in the middle of a $16.8 million capital campaign and expansion that will include a new multipurpose building, a 350-seat chapel and additional parking spaces to accommodate the 6,200-member congregation. As part of the expansion, the church bulldozed a number of mature trees backing up to the residential subdivision of Laurelhurst to make way for additional parking spaces.

I’m a protestant.  St. Anthony’s is allowed to use their own private property as they see fit.
