Where is my residence? Ask the new Montgomery County Judge
by
Documents obtained by yours truly indicate seven people in Montgomery County, Texas are registered to vote at the address of 501 North Thompson #401, Conroe, Texas 77301. The effective date of the registration of the two women and five men residing in Suite 401 for voting purposes range from November 1998 through December 2014.
501 North Thompson #401 is the office of Montgomery County Judge Craig Doyal:
Sacre bleu!
James Fredricks, Judge Doyal’s Chief of Staff and former publisher of the Conroe Courier and the County Judge know full well SEVEN people are not residing in Doyal’s office. And these seven people IMHO, will never be prosecuted for using the address of the County Judge for voting purposes, yet receiving mail at another address.

It seems clear that from articles posted here, here and here it’s a common practice in Texas that people claim residency where they clearly do not and cannot dwell.
And Fredrick’s wife knows this too.
His wife Melinda, was elected Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas at the 2010 State Convention – according to her bio, Melinda chairs SAFE-Texas (Secure and Fair Elections in Texas), which is an organization of Texas Republican grass roots leaders that is working to provide support to our legislators on the issue of Voter ID.
No word yet on when the Texas 14th Court of Appeals will set a date to hear oral arguments from the attorneys representing Jim Jenkins and Adrian Heath —who were convicted for using the address of The Residence Inn as their address for voting purposes.
