RENT-A-VOTER OUTBREAK IN FORT BEND COUNTY?

Years ago when I complained about financial misdeeds at Conroe ISD to  First District Attorney Phil Grant he would reply “That’s what elections are for”.

And then when he was investigating the RUD election contest he asked Montgomery County elections registrar  about “this Secretary of State philosophy of residency“.

Well we don’t exactly know what  philosophy has been so heartily adopted by the developer community and SPDIC ( Special Purpose District Industrial Complex ) but from memory the Secretary of State did not embrace the renting of voters.

The SPDIC has refined RENT-A-VOTER beyond our comprehension.

We just received the following tip from an alert citizen.

The two voters in Fulshear MUD approved almost $300 million in MUD bonds

The two voters in Williams Ranch MUD approved almost $135 million in MUD bonds

So signs are that the RENT-A-VOTER phenomenon has made its way to Fort Bend County. But hey that’s what elections are for right?
