MCHD seems to be a little accident prone lately.
What with the latest vaccination snafu and just two weeks ago report of a MCHD vehicle collision under investigation and last months ill-conceived move to revise bylaws to limit the authority of all board members except the Chair. One wonders if the the implementation of Baby Sitter training by the district was not prophetic.
These are the fairly transparent incidents accessible to the public, in the vaccination case two sacrificial lambs were offered up in exchange for a $74,000 blunder without any Mea culpa from the CEO, so far.
The vehicle collision remains unresolved as far as we know and rumor has it there are second thoughts on the by law business. But this all just adds to the mounting list of staff and board member concerns reputed to be under investigation by MCHD Chairman Harold Posey.
Board member Bob Bagley reports that he and Board member Georgette Whatley recently met with Chairman Posey who is allegedly investigating a list of issues. However, Bagley maintains he has received no response to a four page letter outlining questions and concern delivered to Mr Posey last August 28th.
Georgette Whatley has determined to ignore the restriction on board member authority brought in by Posey last month stating that she believed she is entitled to unfettered access to investigate district business and operations matters.
While the public have been waiting for further light to be cast on the above, we think its best to publish the list of items gleaned form official and unofficial sources here.
