On November 3 County Citizen commenced ten week Candidates Questionnaire via email with up to 8 candidates for the four selected races participating. The questions are usually sent out on Monday and due by noon of the following Monday. We post the answers simultaneously so that no candidate sees a rival answer ahead of time.
This week we posed a the following question regarding the emerging refugee controversy.
What is your view of how Texas should respond to the call to accept more refugees?
and Kristin Bays, candidate for 410th District Court running against Judge Jennifer Robin stood out this week for simple a clarity through brevity of her answer. Kristin’s answer? Simply, “No”.
