CONROE ISD USED ALL ITS POWER TO TAKE PRIVATE PROPERTY

County Citizen May 23, 2015

“Do you now govern Israel? Arise and eat bread and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

I Kings 21:7

Thou ~ “shall  Not Commit extortion or blackmail (obtaining money or an object of value from an unwilling person)”.

Conroe ISD Code of Conduct 2015 pg.3

“Unlimited power is apt to corrupt the minds of those who possess it”

William Pitt, British Prime Minister, 1766-1778

The story in today’s Courier should get a prize. I recounts a story of envy , raw power, covetousness and arrogance and to top it of, Theft.

THEFT is taking something that does not belong to you. Theft is the taking of another person’s property without that person’s permission or consent with the intent to deprive the rightful owner of it. Slightly different is ROBBERY. Robbery is the crime of taking or attempting to take anything of value by force or threat of force or by putting the victim in fear. At common law, robbery is defined as taking the property of another, with the intent to permanently deprive the person of that property. It is not necessarily LARCENY which is a personal property crime rather than a Real property crime. And its not BURGLARY.

The best description of the story about Conroe ISD and its actions in preparation of the exercise of POWERS of EMINENT DOMAIN is definitely ROBBERY because of the implicit force or threat of force. I will summarize –  Paragraph one – ISD wanted access to inspect  land that did not belong to them. Denied, they sued. Paragraph 2. Harris County Court at law No. 4.  Paragraph 3. The Court indulged the thief. Paragraph 4. Male Bovine Excrement. Paragraph 5. Good guy emerges, says “You or your agents cannot enter at this time.”! Paragraph  6.  Good Guy.“We have an active written deer hunting lease on the property and people with high powered weapons hunting there,”  “… We will have to make other arrangements.” Paragraph 7. Arrogant ISD… your puny ownership antics no longer amuse us!  Paragraph 8.  Arrogant ISD bow to our awesome power, your supposed right of ownership means nothing in our kingdom, make way in the name of Plunder.  Paragraph 10   Good Guy -“The owners will consider it a trespass … and will not only exercise its self-help remedies, but will notify the Montgomery County Sheriff and other applicable law enforcement officers to have them ejected from the property and placed under arrest,”. Paragraph 14.  BONDS, it’s for the children Male Bovine Excrement, more disdain for private property rights.  Paragraph 15. Thief offers to steal less stuff.  Paragraph 16. Bullied surf now to be hectored for Thief’s legal costs.

So, after reading this I was reminded of the story of Wicked King Ahab and his equally wicked wife Jezebel, Ahab wanted a piece of property that belonged to another and agreed to the corrupt use of force to get what he wanted, he didn’t do it himself you see. He stood idly by and let his agents, surrogates and proxies do the evil but legal deed for him. ( legal in the sense that he was the highest civil authority in the land). All too common in Montgomery County too. Standing idly by, I mean.

Ahab did worse things too, eventually some one came, or was sent to resist old Ahab and in his case the Kingdom was taken away from him. People, do not  stand by and let this stuff happen. Who will speak truth to power in this county? Perhaps this land owner is ultimately OK with the outcome, but the next case may be different. What a shame that a Harris county court saw it acceptable to exercise legal theft power in the first place. Would the Evil ISD have got a different response in a Montgomery County court? I wonder.

2015 marks 800 years since Magna Carta. The founders drew much from Magna Carta. After Magna Carta 1215 there was Inspeximus Magna Carta in 1265 and 1297, Inspeximus refers to subsequent Kings promise to respect the Liberties laid down in Magna Carta, a refresher if you will.

I think it is time to cut Conroe ISD down to size. Divide it into five new ISDs with five new overpaid Superintendents with five time less power and five times less administrative staff and five time less employees and five time less students and five times more accountability to voters. Too much power is concentrated in one ISD that reaches across the heart of the county. And they have forgotten the law.

magnacartaRight after all staff and board members are brought to an assembly where they are forced to read the Declaration and Bill of Rights to each other at the top of their voice ten times with all student as witnesses they will then write 10,000 lines in a three ring binder that will be encased in a brass monument in front of each campus – We shall  Not Commit extortion or blackmail (obtaining money or an object of value from an unwilling person).
