Commissioners court
has officially said no to placing a revised road bond on the November ballot. The reason given in today’s Courier is timing related to upcoming mobility study and the County thoroughfare plan. I still maintain the real reason to be concern of another defeat in November when CISD will also have its $510 million bond up for voter approval. The voters seem to be in the mood to say no again. Hurrah!
By the way, do the tea party folks really think these studies are reliable and objective, and that they will find anything other that the urgent need to spend more money?
