Kevin Brady is out there,
Somewhere. Last month Congressman Brady was good enough to accede to the scrutiny of voting public by participating in a recent Candidate forum via cell phone from deep inside the beltway.
Now voters, hungry to receive any communication from their esteemed Congressman have been treated to an email.
This, according to a report from the Courier of Montgomery County was released to the media after the Congressman chose to attend a “retreat” with fellow congressmen over making a public appearance with those men who dare challenge his position.
Aren’t you lucky.

District 8 challengers take aim on DC, incumbent; Brady defends record
Craig McMichael, Andre Dean and Steve Toth deliver their opening statements during the Montgomery County Eagle Forum Thursday. Incumbent Kevin Brady did not attend the forum due to other committments.
SHENANDOAH — Challengers for the District 8 U.S. House of Representatives seat in the March 1 Republican primary touted their conservative values, promising to stick to those values while in office, during a forum hosted by the Montgomery County Eagle Forum Thursday.
Andre Dean, Craig McMichael and Steve Toth spoke out against incumbent U.S. Rep. Kevin Brady, R-The Woodlands, who wasn’t at the forum because he was attending the Republican Congressional Retreat, his office said. The challengers told the audience they would stick to the principles on which they campaign, if elected.
McMichael said while elected officials believe they have what it takes to stick to their ideals, Washington somehow changes them, and installing term limits for Congress would change that.
“That capitol is broken,” McMichael said. “… It’s a well-oiled machine that’s full of money, and it breaks people. This is why term limits are important, (because you can) rotate people in and out.”
Dean said RINOs (Republicans in name only) in Washington helped produce some of the front-running candidates in the GOP presidential primary race, such as Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, after the Republican movement became “extremely conservative.”
“There is a great challenge to the establishment …” Dean said. “What we’re trying to do is be able to elect someone who is not a RINO.”
Dean claimed Brady is using false conservative ranking systems to tout his record.
Brady responded to Dean’s attacks via email, saying the ratings reflect his “conservative values.”
