Seventy-three Percent Heathen

Here’s a story about voting and Franklin Graham – who seems to have overlooked that the lesser of two heathens is , well, still heathen.  What Gary North explained in his book ( available free online here )is worth noting.

“Christians today are in bondage. They do not readily understand this fundamental theological principle: many gods) many moralities) many laws. This is the political principle of polytheism. It is also the fundamental principle – seldom or never stated publicly – of political pluralism. Christians do not understand this principle because they have been taught by strangers – the public school system, tele- vision, and the media in general- and also by the strangers’ certified academic agents within the household of faith.”

Franklin Graham Claims Christians Must Vote for ‘Least Heathen’ Candidate

In an interview this week with the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Franklin Graham stated that Christians must vote, even if it means holding their nose and selecting the “least heathen of the two heathens.”

“There is a left movement within the evangelical community that are telling people, ‘If so-and-so wins or this person wins don’t vote.’ I’m just saying, I don’t care who wins and who’s out there, you have to vote,” he stated.

Graham said that Christians may find themselves having to determine which candidate is less evil than the other.

“And I’m not going to tell people who to vote for. I’m not going to do that. Let God tell you who to vote for,” he stated. “You may have to hold your nose. You may have to decide which is the least heathen of the two heathens.”
