The elections, however, may hinge on voters housed by a company specializing in getting special district elections set up and passed.

Two voters in CMMD No. 1 have the same Spring mailing address on Marilyn Lane as the only two voters in MUD No. 148.

According to a commercial business permit approved by the city of Conroe, a contractor, Clark Parker, built “Voter Trailer MC148” on the Southern Oaks Drive address after being approved Aug. 8 of this year. The inspection and certificate of occupancy was approved Oct. 2.

Parker is listed as the owner of Stingray Services, which according to the website performs “manufactured home/modular home installation, rental, and election services for new utility districts (MUD’s, WCID’s, RID’s, etc.).”
