Attorney Russel J Bowman is filing another class action lawsuit against the city of Willis for their illegal use of the Red light Cameras.  The law requires a transportation study to be done prior to the cameras being installed.  They did not do this.

They know that we know they didn’t do one.  We garnered this information through our barrage of open record request.  They even sut down their own cash cow machines at one time, when called out on the issue.

This is the grounds for the new lawsuit.  Mr Bowman is looking for plaintiffs that have PAID and have proof a red light camera ticket in the city of Willis.

Here is an excerpt from the attorneys email request.

“Dear Kelli,
If you hear of any other people that have paid a red light camera ticket to Wills besides those you have notified me of, send them my way, so we can get them to join in the lawsuit.  Please note that as I have told the others, Scott Stewart (the other lawyer working the case with me) and I can recover attorney’s fees if we prevail.  As such, anyone that signs up with us will not be charged by us for attorney’s fees.  We will recover our attorney’s fees from the Defendants, or we will recover nothing at all.  Thus, anyone who signs up with us has nothing to lose, and everything to gain, by joining in the lawsuit against the City of Wills.
